1. Insimbi Yekhabhoni:
Insimbi yekhabhoni yinsimbi esetshenziswa kakhulu ezimbonini futhi ikhiqiza ngaphezu kwama-90% ensimbi iyonke ekhiqizwayo. Ngokusekelwe kokuqukethwe kwekhabhoni, insimbi yekhabhoni ihlukaniswa ngamaqembu amathathu.

2. Insimbi Engagqwali:
Insimbi engagqwali iyinsimbi ehlanganisiwe equkethe i-10.5% ye-Chromium (Ubuncane). Insimbi engagqwali ibonisa izakhiwo zokumelana nokugqwala, ngenxa yokwakheka kwengqimba encane kakhulu ye-Cr2O3 ebusweni bayo. Lolu ngqimba lwaziwa nangokuthi ungqimba olungasebenzi. Ukwandisa inani le-Chromium kuzokwandisa kakhulu ukumelana nokugqwala kwezinto. Ngaphezu kwe-Chromium, i-Nickel ne-Molybdenum nazo zengezwa ukuze zinikeze izakhiwo ezifiselekayo (noma ezithuthukisiwe). Insimbi engagqwali iqukethe nenani elihlukahlukene le-Carbon, i-Silicon, ne-Manganese.

● Insimbi Engagqwali ye-Ferritic: Izinsimbi ze-Ferritic zakhiwe ngama-alloy e-Iron-Chromium anezakhiwo ze-cubic crystal (BCC) ezigxile emzimbeni. Ngokuvamile lezi zinamandla kazibuthe futhi azikwazi ukuqina ngokwelashwa ngokushisa kodwa zingaqiniswa ngokusebenza okubandayo.
● Insimbi Engagqwali Yase-Austenitic: Izinsimbi ze-Austenitic zimelana kakhulu nokugqwala. Azinamagnetic futhi azilapheki ngokushisa. Ngokuvamile, izinsimbi ze-austenitic zishibilika kakhulu.
● Insimbi Engagqwali Ye-Martensitic: Insimbi engagqwali ye-Martensitic iqine kakhulu futhi iqinile kodwa ayimelani nokugqwala njengezinye izinhlobo ezimbili. Lezi zinsimbi zisebenza kahle kakhulu, zinamandla kazibuthe, futhi ziyalapheka ngokushisa.
● Izinsimbi Ezingagqwali Ezimbili: Insimbi engagqwali Ezimbili iqukethe isakhiwo esincane esinezigaba ezimbili esakhiwe yizinhlamvu zensimbi engagqwali ye-ferritic ne-austenitic (okungukuthi i-Ferrite + i-Austenite). Izinsimbi ezimbili ziqine ngokuphindwe kabili kunezinsimbi ezingagqwali ze-austenitic noma ze-ferritic.
● Ukuqina Kwemvula (PH) Izinsimbi Ezingagqwali: Ukuqina Kwemvula (PH) Izinsimbi Ezingagqwali zinamandla aphezulu kakhulu ngenxa yokuqina kwemvula.
3. Insimbi Yengxubevange
Ensimbini ye-alloy, kusetshenziswa izilinganiso ezahlukene zezinto ezixubile, ukuze kufezwe izakhiwo ezifiselekayo (ezithuthukisiwe) ezifana nokushibilika, ukuguquguquka, ukusebenza kahle, amandla, ukuqina kanye nokumelana nokugqwala, njll. 4. Insimbi Yethuluzi
Izinsimbi zamathuluzi zinokuqukethwe okuphezulu kwekhabhoni (0.5% kuya ku-1.5%). Okuqukethwe okuphezulu kwekhabhoni kunikeza ubulukhuni namandla aphezulu. Lezi zinsimbi zisetshenziswa kakhulu ukwenza amathuluzi nama-dies. Insimbi yamathuluzi iqukethe amanani ahlukahlukene e-tungsten, i-cobalt, i-molybdenum, ne-vanadium ukwandisa ukushisa nokumelana nokuguguleka, kanye nokuqina kwensimbi. Lokhu kwenza izinsimbi zamathuluzi zibe zilungele kakhulu ukusetshenziswa njengamathuluzi okusika nokubhoboza.
