1. Insimbi Yekhabhoni:

2. Insimbi Engagqwali:
Insimbi engagqwali iyinsimbi eyingxubevange equkethe u-10.5% weChromium (Okungenani). Insimbi engagqwali ibonisa izakhiwo zokumelana nokugqwala, ngenxa yokwakheka kongqimba oluncane kakhulu lwe-Cr2O3 ebusweni bayo. Lesi sendlalelo saziwa nangokuthi isendlalelo sokwenziwa. Ukwenyusa inani le-Chromium kuzothuthukisa ukumelana nokugqwala kwento. Ngokungeziwe ku-Chromium, i-Nickel ne-Molybdenum nazo zengezwa ukuze kudluliselwe izakhiwo ezifiselekayo (noma ezithuthukisiwe). ● I-Ferritic Stainless Steel: Izinsimbi ze-Ferritic zihlanganisa ama-alloys e-Iron-Chromium anezinhlaka zekristalu ezimaphakathi nomzimba (BCC). Lezi ngokuvamile zikazibuthe futhi azikwazi ukwenziwa lukhuni ukwelashwa kokushisa kodwa zingaqiniswa ukusebenza okubandayo.
● I-Austenitic Stainless Steel: Izinsimbi ze-Austenitic zimelana nokugqwala. Ayinazibuthe futhi ayilaphekeki. Ngokuvamile, izinsimbi ze-austenitic zikwazi ukushisela kakhulu.

3. I-alloy Steel
Ensimbi ye-alloy, izilinganiso ezihlukene zezakhi ze-alloying zisetshenziswa, ukuze kuzuzwe izici ezifiselekayo (ezithuthukisiwe) ezifana nokushisela, i-ductility, machinability, amandla, ukuqina nokumelana nokugqwala, njll Ezinye zezinto ezisetshenziswa kakhulu ze-alloying kanye nemiphumela yazo kanje;
● I-Manganese - Yandisa amandla nobulukhuni, yehlisa i-ductility kanye nokushisela.

● I-Molybdenum - Yenyusa ukuqina futhi ithuthukise ukumelana nokunyakaza kwezinsimbi ezine-alloy ephansi.
4. Insimbi Yensimbi
Izinsimbi zamathuluzi zinokuqukethwe okuphezulu kwekhabhoni (0.5% kuya ku-1.5%). Okuqukethwe kwekhabhoni ephezulu kunikeza ubulukhuni obuphakeme namandla. Lezi zinsimbi zisetshenziswa kakhulu ukwenza amathuluzi futhi ziyafa. Insimbi yamathuluzi iqukethe amanani ahlukahlukene e-tungsten, i-cobalt, i-molybdenum, ne-vanadium ukukhulisa ukumelana nokushisa nokugqoka, nokuqina kwensimbi. Lokhu kwenza izinsimbi zamathuluzi zilungele ukusetshenziswa njengamathuluzi okusika nawokubhoboza.
